2009 National Engineering Machinery and Vehicle Technical Quality Information Network Branch

Organized by the China Construction Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the forklift, industrial vehicle, and sightseeing vehicle industry sub network conference was successfully held in Yanqing, Beijing on November 10, 2009, with over a hundred companies participating.

The EU's new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC will come into effect on December 29, 2009. This conference mainly focuses on forklifts, industrial vehicles, and sightseeing vehicles. The EU's new Machinery Directive has put forward new requirements in terms of the scope of the directive, basic safety and hygiene, and conformity assessment procedures. These changes will have a significant impact on the standardization of mechanical safety for forklifts, industrial vehicles, and sightseeing vehicles in China. A speech was given on how to solve the issues that need to be paid attention to in CE certification for forklifts, industrial vehicles, and sightseeing vehicles, as well as other certification matters.

The National Engineering Machinery Quality Supervision and Testing Center has agreed to hold the 2009 National Engineering Machinery and Vehicle Technical Quality Information Network, Quality Work Committee of China Engineering Machinery Industry Association, Forklift and Industrial Vehicles, and Sightseeing Vehicle Industry Branch Network Conference in Yanqing, Beijing on November 10, 2009. This is another grand event after the successful hosting of the 2007 and 2008 international forums. We have specially invited representatives from the Italian European Certification Organization (ECO) and our technical service company in China, Luoyang Yizhong Technical Consulting Co., Ltd., to attend this conference. The purpose of this conference is to deepen enterprises' understanding of CE certification for forklifts, industrial vehicles, and sightseeing vehicles, master their certification process, solve their doubts about CE certification for forklift and industrial vehicle exports in China, and explore corresponding measures. A comprehensive analysis of CE certification was conducted from the perspective of enterprises; At the same time, it has improved the safety level of forklifts and industrial vehicles in China, enhancing the confidence of domestic enterprises in the smooth entry of their products into the EU market.

Our senior engineer Wei Guohong and engineer Nie Baojun gave speeches on CE and E-MARK certification, and finally successfully concluded the meeting in the form of a forum. Sales Manager Fu Zhen and Sales Representative Xu Ru also attended the meeting and provided satisfactory answers to the questions raised by the company after the meeting.
