After two months of intense preparation, the EU Noise Directive authorization exam, hosted by ECO headquarters and remotely supervised by officials from the Italian Ministry of Transport, successfully concluded on October 24, 2019.

This year, the Italian Ministry of Transport has put forward more stringent requirements for engineers authorized under the EU Noise Directive, which not only require training and assessment of Italian authorized engineers, but also require officials from the Italian Ministry of Transport to take the exam in person, otherwise it will affect the review of the authorization directive by the notified body. In August of this year, our company actively communicated with ECO to prepare for the exam in response to this new requirement. Our CE certification department's engineers responsible for noise command technical services also worked overtime in their spare time to prepare for the exam. The specific invigilation time for officials from the Italian Ministry of Transport was finally determined in October.

On the day of the exam, our invigilators connected with the Italian headquarters via remote conference to ensure that two officials from the Ministry of Transport could monitor our exam situation throughout the entire process. Our engineers also strictly followed the discipline requirements of the exam room, using their professional knowledge reserves to complete all the questions on the exam paper one hour in advance and passed the exam with high scores.

The successful passing of this exam further confirms the professional strength of our technical personnel and adds a golden signboard to the development of our EU noise directive business.
