Definition of wheeled tractors
The term 'type' refers to tractors of the same type that do not differ significantly in the following basic aspects:
-Manufacturer;
-The type specified by the manufacturer;
-Basic structural form and design parameters;
-Integrated chassis/half frame chassis/articulated chassis (with significant differences in structural features and working principles);
-Engine (internal combustion engine/electric motor/hybrid drive);
-Number of axles;
The 'basic type' refers to tractors of the same type that do not differ significantly in the following basic aspects:
-Activate;
-Working principle;
-Number of cylinders and arrangement of cylinders;
-The power difference shall not exceed 30% (the maximum power of the engine shall be 1.3 times the minimum power);
-The difference in cylinder displacement shall not exceed 20% (the maximum displacement of the engine shall be 1.3 times the minimum displacement);
-Drive axles (quantity, location, and connection method);
-Steering bridges (quantity and location);
-The maximum usage quality shall not exceed 10%;
-Transmission system (type);
-Roll over protection structure;
-Brake bridges (quantity).
Variant "refers to different combinations of products based on the relevant technical information provided in Annex I of the directive, on the basis of the basic model.
