Before any equipment mentioned in Article 12 of the Noise Directive is put on the market or put into use, the manufacturer or its authorized representative in the European Community shall assign each model of equipment to one of the following conformity assessment procedures:

-Evaluation of production internal control and technical documents and regular inspection procedures mentioned in Annex VI, or

-Unit verification procedures related to Annex VII, or

-The complete quality assurance program related to Annex VIII.

Before any equipment mentioned in Article 13 is put on the market or put into use, the manufacturer or its authorized representative in the European Community shall place each model of equipment under the production internal control referred to in Annex V.

3. Member States shall ensure that the Committee and any other Member State have access to all information used in the conformity assessment procedure for a type of equipment, in accordance with a reasonable request, and in particular to the technical documents specified in Annex V (3), Annex VI (3), Annex VII (2), Sections 3.1 and 3.3.
